Kashmir - Heaven on Earth

खुदा ने सब जगह नहीं रह सका, तो उसने 'माँ' को बनाया |
खुदा ने सबको 'जन्नत' न दे सका, तो उसने 'कश्मीर' को बनाया ||

(God could not be every where, so he created 'Mother'..
God could not give heaven to all, so he created,'Kashmir')

It is neither said that Kashmir is the paradise on earth nor the mere coincidence it is being treated as Gem of the crown of Indian subcontinent. Situated at extreme north of India at the lap of the 'Great Himalayas', known for its Lush Green Landscapes, Snow Peaked Mountains, Roaring White Rivers, Delicious Apples, Dry fruits, Stunning Artworks and Craft, Beautiful Shawls and how to forget the Mesmerizing Floating life on 'Dal' Lake and the famous 'Saffron' also known as 'Kesar'.
It has many pilgrim places for both Hindu & Muslim communities of the country and being major tourist attraction of the country and invites tourists from not only India but all over the world.
Though it is seasonally full of tourists through post winter, in spring through summer, it can be visited throughout the year but additional preparation is required for heavy snowfalls during mid winter (November to January).
Its picturesque locations makes Kashmir perfect to be visited in each season...
